Intensive and fast moving, this fun programme is designed to help nurses from overseas to communicate more effectively with both patients and colleagues. There is an emphasis on everyday, colloquial English and strategies to develop both listening and pronunciation. The course uses role plays and simulations to give you the confidence to deal with real-life situations.

Who is the course for?
This course is for nurses and related medical support staff such as health visitors, paramedics or ambulance staff. It is designed for non-native speaking nurses who have come to the UK to work, and also those who intend to work in an international setting, such as cruise ships.
How will this course help?
This course is based the spoken language skills you need for the workplace, and will build confidence in using English in a medical environment.
Participants will develop their skills of expression and pronunciation, and gain a better understanding of colloquial English, to enable a more fluent, clear and effective dialogue between nurse and patient or colleague.
